We were hopeful to hold the family day event in Karuizawa, Japan, coincide with ISPNO 2020, however, due to the continuous spread of the coronavirus, it was no choice but to give up on the family day event in Karuizawa. The focus was for people, patients and family, from all over world who had been through pediatric brain tumors to come together and let the world know about our support groups such as patient advocates and family support.
The question remains, how can we let more people know about pediatric brain tumors and what we have been through? Well, through hours and hours of meeting with the family support groups, we have decided to make two videos about kids and their families about the facing this disease and overcoming it. The video was recorded throughout Japan, and at the ISPNO 2020 we played this video. We would like to share this on this website as well.
